FareShare is an innovative not-for-profit organisation that creates healthy meals for Melbourne’s hungry and homeless, using quality food that would otherwise be wasted.
In 2008, Fenton Communications has helped FareShare by:
Coordinating the media and stakeholder launch of its new kitchen in Abbotsford;
Designing an advertisement for the Big Issue;
Developing a communication strategy and stakeholder engagement plan;
Providing support and advice in media relations, event management and design; and
Volunteering in the FareShare kitchen to help prepare meals for Melbourne’s hungry and homeless.
In 2009, Fenton Communications will continue to work closely with FareShare to help achieve its goal of distributing one million meals each year.
