David Micallef

David Micallef joined Fenton Communications after working as a PR consultant in Australia and the UK and brings strong skills in media relations, writing, strategy development and event management skills.

While overseas, David worked on campaigns for the home, men’s grooming and garment care divisions of Philips (UK) and launched a website aimed at connecting residents with their local sports groups.

In Australia he worked on several projects including the launch of a book for leading talkback radio station 3AW, the launch of Melbourne’s first biofuel station and ongoing work for several corporate and non-profit clients.

At Fenton Communications, David is currently managing media relations for National Psychology Week and aiding the team on media for several other projects, including work with the Optometrists Association Australia.

David also brings with him strong experience in journalism through previous work with a UK online news publisher, an overseas daily newspaper and several UK based trade magazines in the business, technology and environment sectors.

He holds a Master of Arts (Professional Communication) from Deakin University and completed a post-graduate diploma in Public Relations while on exchange at the University of Florida.
