Jane Fenton

Jane Fenton, the founder of Fenton Communications, is a Fellow of the Public Relations Institute of Australia. She has more than 25 years experience providing strategic communications advice to clients across a range of sectors including professional services, health, government and not for profit.

Jane’s recent work includes advising Sustainability Victoria, the Department of Human Services (Victoria), the Department of Justice (Victoria), the Legal Services Commissioner, the Department of Health and Ageing, Deakin University and VicTrack.

In addition to problem-solving, managing issues and providing communications advice to clients, Jane is a sought after facilitator, coach and trainer and regularly runs workshops and forums for the firm’s clients.

Jane has an honours law degree. In 1997 she won the Victorian Telstra Business Woman of the Year Business Owner and Manager award and she is currently the Chair of VicHealth, a Board Member of the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute and a Life Governor of Very Special Kids.

Jane received an Order of Australia Medal (AM) on Australia Day 2004 for service to the community, particularly through support for a range of health, medical research, youth and women’s groups.
