Laura Fayers-Pooley
Laura Fayers-Pooley joined Fenton’s Sydney office in 2007 as a communications consultant.
Laura has extensive experience in developing and managing publications and events. She has developed and implemented communications strategies, worked closely with media and is experienced at working within tight budgets and translating technical language for general audiences.
At Fentons Laura works with clients including Trojan Recruitment Group, LINK Recruitment and Smart Water Fund. She has particular interests in the environment, health and community sectors and has a passion for corporate social responsibility.
Prior to joining Fentons, Laura was Public Affairs Coordinator at the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation, as part of the team that launched OPAL, Australia’s new $400 million research reactor.
She managed corporate social responsibility reporting, and won Public Relations Institute of Australia state and national Awards of Excellence for this work. She has also worked in a not-for-profit organisation managing publications, media and events.
Laura has a Bachelor of Arts (Communications – Public Relations and Organisational Communications) from Charles Sturt University and is a member of the Public Relations Institute of Australia.
