Rachael Murnane

Rachael has worked with a wide range of corporate, government and health focused organisations on a number of major projects and public relations campaigns.

She has extensive experience in managing the development of communications strategies, implementing media campaigns and undertaking communications review projects. Rachael recently developed an asthma communication and collaboration framework for the Department of Human Services (Victoria), and works on a range of projects with the Smart Water Fund and the Australian Institute of Family Studies.

Rachael also played a pivotal role in the development and implementation of a communications strategy for major infrastructure project for Yarra Valley Water.

Rachael has received numerous awards, including National and State Awards for Excellence from the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) where she was highly commended for her nurses Recruitment campaign for St Vincent’s and Mercy Private Hospital.

In the 2000 PRIA State Awards for Excellence, Rachael was the Winner in the Special Events Category for her media work with Very Special Kids. She also received a Commended at the 2000 PRIA National Golden Target Awards for this campaign, and a Highly Commended at the 1999 PRIA State Awards for Excellence for her media work with the Royal Women’s Hospital.

Rachael is a Public Relations Institute of Australia member and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Public Relations) degree from RMIT University.
