Sam Patterson
Sam is an account manager for Fenton Communications. A former solicitor, Sam applies his research and analytical skills to deliver communication strategies to clients across a broad range of sectors, including legal and regulatory, energy, water and health.
Recent projects include developing communications strategies for the newly-established Legal Services Commissioner and Legal Services Board and the Growth Areas Authority, and a community education campaign for the Essential Services Commission.
An expert in report writing, Sam has worked with organisations including Wesley Mission Melbourne, the (then) Sustainable Energy Authority of Victoria and Monash IVF to develop the theme, content and style of their Annual Reports.
Sam also provides specialist training in areas including media, presentation, professional writing and personal marketing skills.
Sam has a passionate interest in the health and medical research sector and is a founding member of the the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute’s Development Board. He recently graduated from the Committee for Melbourne’s Future Focus Group program where he participated in a program to develop pet shelters for animals whose owners are experiencing violence in the home.
Sam has a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Science (Genetics) from the University of Melbourne.
